Impressions: This is a vibrant field blend of Bourbon and Yellow Caturra that wonderfully showcases Peruvian terroir. It is proof that you don't necessarily need advanced processing or unusual varieties to produce something exceptional. The aroma opens with sweet and juicy pink lady apple evolving into tart boysenberry, reminding me of some great berry-forward Kenyan coffees. It then finishes with a surprising amount of sweet and creamy cherry blossom florals.
